A summary of the results of an assessment is known as an assessment report. It helps improve internal processes by highlighting the strengths and weakness of an organization. It is usually composed by an external entity however, it can also be collected internally. Assessments are often undertaken as part of training and development programmes or as part of a wider company performance review.
The report of the assessment must clearly describe the findings of the assessment, as well as what actions were taken in response to these findings. They should be simple to read and include an equal amount of text and visuals to convey information. They should also consider the design principles of the organization to ensure that they’re well designed and reflect the brand.
When assessing a course, it is not about determining if students have fulfilled prerequisite requirements. It is more about how they have improved and if the program has improved the outcomes of students. Assessment reports for the academic year is one way to show this. These reports show that the programs are evaluating and improving their curriculum. They also show continual improvement.
